You must be at least 18 years old to use The Face Report. By creating an account or using our services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly provide services to minors.

2. Service Description

The Face Report provides AI-powered facial analysis tools including face shape detection, symmetry scoring, proportional harmony analysis, and personalized recommendations. Our services include:

• Free tools: Face shape detection, symmetry test, and harmony score — processed entirely in your browser.
• Paid features (Pro): Full AI analysis with personalized recommendations and an "optimized self" visualization powered by Google Gemini.

3. Not Medical or Professional Advice

The Face Report is an informational and entertainment tool. Our analysis, scores, and recommendations do not constitute medical, dermatological, or professional advice.

• Results are generated by AI algorithms and should not be used for medical diagnosis or treatment decisions.
• Skincare and lifestyle recommendations are general suggestions, not prescriptions. Consult a qualified professional before making health-related decisions.
• Facial harmony scores reflect mathematical proportions, not objective measures of attractiveness or worth.

4. AI-Generated Content

The "optimized self" visualization and personalized recommendations are generated by artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). This content:

• Is a simulation, not a prediction of actual results from any procedure or product.
• May contain inaccuracies or artifacts typical of AI image generation.
• Should not be interpreted as achievable outcomes from cosmetic procedures.
• Is labeled as AI-generated in compliance with the EU AI Act and applicable transparency regulations.

5. Account Terms

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You may only upload photos of yourself or photos for which you have explicit consent from the subject.
• You may not use our services to analyze photos of minors.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Payments & Billing

• Full reports are available as one-time purchases ($9.99 per report or $19.99 for a 3-report bundle) via Stripe.
• Report credits never expire and can be used at any time.
• There are no recurring charges or automatic renewals.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact contact@thefacereport.com for refund requests.

7. Biometric Data & Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to our service. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle facial data, including our biometric data notice for Illinois (BIPA), Washington (MHMDA), and EU (GDPR) residents.

Key points: photos are auto-deleted within 24 hours, free tools process data entirely in your browser, and we never sell or use your data for AI training.

8. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of any photos you upload.
• AI-generated visualizations are provided for your personal use. You may share them but may not use them for commercial purposes without our consent.
• The The Face Report name, logo, and website content are our intellectual property.

9. Disclaimers

The Face Report is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of analysis results.
• That the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• That AI-generated visualizations will accurately represent potential outcomes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Face Report and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to emotional distress, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, we will remove your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
